My Experience at the YSP Programme at Ashoka University
One of the most memorable experiences I have had was attending the Young Scholars Programme (YSP) at Ashoka University, where I explored the world of business and entrepreneurship. It was a completely different experience from regular school because I got the opportunity to learn through activities, discussions and interactions with other students.
During the programme, I learned about different aspects of business, such as how companies are created, how entrepreneurs identify problems and turn them into opportunities, and how businesses make important decisions. What I enjoyed most was that we were not simply expected to memorise information. We were encouraged to think creatively, share our opinions and come up with our own ideas.
Another important part of the experience was meeting students from different schools and backgrounds. Working with them helped me understand that there can be many different ways of approaching the same problem. I also became more confident while presenting my ideas and communicating with others.
Spending time at Ashoka University also gave me a glimpse of university life. The campus environment, classrooms and discussions made me curious about what college life could be like in the future. Overall, the YSP programme helped me develop my interest in business and taught me that successful ideas require creativity, teamwork, confidence and the ability to learn from mistakes. It was an experience that I will remember for a long time.
